~Can I say "JOYRIDE"!~

 

My husband suprised me last Sunday with this!!!

 

 

I didn't have my camera with at the time...but he had white balloons tied all over it and a red rose in the vase in the car!

I was sooo suprised...Never in a million years did I think this would ever happen to me!!

You always see it in the movies and on t.v....but never thinking it would happen to me...wow... my husband told me that I deserve to have something cute to bee bop around in so that I don't always have to drive the BIG surburban...So now I have an adorable car to visit all my sweet friends... in faraway places....and you all know who you are!!!! So I'll be comin' to your CITTAY!!

Thanks again to my wonderful...sweet...adorable husband!!!

Well I have to share some news....my sweet little Sandy (Girl Dog)

 

got bit last night by this mean 'ol thing!!

we had to rush her to the hospital...

They said it looked like she just got grazed by it....not too bad...but wanted to keep her overnight...cause the body react's differently and depending how much venom was in the snake at the time...they just wanted to check her blood levels and make sure it did'nt worsen over night......so I had to leave her..and he told me he would be calling in the middle of the night..if it got to the point where she needed the anti venom...so I slept with the phone right next to my head.....never got the phone call in the night...praise God...got a phone call at 7 am and they said she was fine and they told me I could pick her up...so I jumped in the car and was there by 7:30 am....So glad that God protected her...she is my sweet little girl and would have hated her to go through all that traumic snakebite stuff...Dale her brother howled all night for her.....now she is back home relaxing in her bed!!!

I love living where I live...but this time of year it is so scary for snakes!!!! Thank good ness the snake was under the porch and  there was some  lattice that was kinda a barrior between her and the snake... it could have been waaaay worse....my husband and dad looked for the snake...but could'nt find it..hopefully it wandered off into the wilderness...

I am back in business!!!

Yahoo!!! I got my computer back....!!

But...... BOOHOO!!! NOTHING could be saved!!!

I should have my computer up and running this weekend!!!!

I hear that there is a TROJAN virus running around .....I am kinda upset about the whole thing...cause several other bloggers I know got the Trojan Virus too and  it wiped them out also....It seems very interesting that it's the people I know in blog land...that have mentioned it to me....

I am going to be VERY cautious about stuff....and who's e-mails I open...

Any hoot........ I'll show you some pics. of my vacay...and some new photos of some of the new goodies I brought to Vignettes the other day....

I also have marked down my Vintage rabbit Tee's to $20.00 ea. plus s/h

I have them now at home so I will be able to tell what sizes and colors I have left....if you need to know.......

Bad news!!! My computer is still being fixed...I was told by my husband that I lost EVERYTHING!!!!

I am still using my husbands computer too!!

 

My husband and I just returned from a little vacation in the Sierra's a little R&R needed in this household...

 

I actually got my fishing license and went fishing almost everyday!!!

Did I catch anything NO...but is was fun.....

Now all I need to do is get my cute little vintage trailer and hook up with the Sisters on the fly!!

Anyway...if you haven't heard from me it's 'cause I was gone on my little trip!!!

 

Glad to be back home!!

Can't wait to get back in the 'ol craft room!!!

~Another Great Day at the barn~

It was a wonderful day at the barn...cool weather...fabulous displays...and lots of fun gals coming for a visit...Claudia, Julie ...from Cupcake DD, and her sweet friend, Miss Sweet Marie...If I forgot any body today ... I'm sorry...lots of business today...as well as tommorrow...and of course all our regular peeps...and a few new ones......and sweet Miss Mary couldn't make it this time....here are a few pics. of the day! 

 

And Last but not Least...Dear Sweet Linda who owns La Maison Rustique...she never lets us take pictures of her...and she looked so beautiful today...as she always does... if it weren't for Linda there would be No La Maison....Thanks You for opening up your home and letting me be apart of this amazing Venue!!! I adore you!!!

~WOW!~

Yes...Wow... is all I can say...I am so flattered that Lori...the Owner of Vignettes...just paid me the largest compliment ...mentioning  me on her blog...I have showcased my items at Vignettes now for going on 10 years...she actually found me when my Mother and I who by the way encouraged me to start selling my creations in a little ol antique mall in the humble little town of Lemon Grove Ca....Lori spotted my modest booth and tracked me down and told me she wanted me to be in her store "Vignettes" me being new in the industry had no clue what Vignettes was and who was this Lori? and she wanted me to rent a case...mind you I had a much larger floor space than a case and she wanted 100.00 at the time...and I thought...wow...was this a good business decision..to go from floor space to a rinky dinky glass case...hmm.. I had to think about it...and as always my mom encouraged me to step out of the box and pursue this...Lori did assured me that lots of people had done interesting things in their cases in the past...and she had no doubt that I would do well...so I did it...and it's been history ever since...Lori...has always been so encouraging to me...always putting little ideas in my head...that turn into wow moments at times....Lori...is so fun to chit chat and get motivated with and has really helped me become part of the artiste I am today...

I have my mom to thank first for always believing in me...

Thank You Lori for always trusting in me and for letting me be myself and letting me "go with it"!!! I have had a blast these last 10 years...so with no further adew...will you come with me over to
