I can never seem to find any...and then I found a cute little old hat while I was in Old Orange a few weeks ago...I was soo excited...then I came across Leesiebellas of Sugar Sugar..you tube video on how to remove the flowers from the hat...so I worked on this ..this morning....you can find her blog on my sidebar!

Remember I told you when I pulled out my sewing machine...that I was going to be working on some new projects...well...here is a sneak peak...for you....

Since I am back from my fabulous trip to Az..... I have time now to start concentrating on some new things...

 This is the start of a new line I call..

'Down the Rabbit Hole' Couture

I have been 'sew' inspired by Ruth Rae and several others out there....that I thought I could make my own version of some handmade wristlets....I have so much stuff from all my grandmothers...my husbands' mom and grandmother...that it's ashamed to have it just sit in baskets and just rot away....and I could just kick myself for giving away alot of it several years ago....but alas..there is still more that I can work with!!

I feel so silly that I kept my little sewing machine boxed up in my craft room for 'sew' long....

I think I was a little scared to be honest....

well I have lots more work to do to finish up this wristlet....I will show you more as it gets done....

and she made this beautiful mermaid and I have the privelege of owning one!!

I have known Jennifer for several years and she has been in this business of making and creating things forever!! She use to open up her beautiful craftsman style historic rock house were she held amazing boutique style shows!! She was doing this 15 years ago....she was ahead of her time.....through the years I have rec'd so many lovely gifts that are all handmade by her... I love each and every treasure....she can make anything...so swing by her blog and give her a shout out!! You never know what's up her sleeve... I can't wait to see what's she will be designing next!!!

I didn't end up wearing the outfit I had planned on! I thought I forgot all my turquoise jewelry that I was going to wear that night so I thought this outfit would work better with the jewelry that I already had on....and can you beleive that all the new jewelry that I made for this show was left at home!!! I was SOOOO BUMMED with at capital"B" !!!!

and by the way... I found all that turquoise jewelry of mine at the bottom of my suitcase the day we left town!!! You get so busy at these things that you forget stuff...like taking more pictures!!! i guess I was busy working my booth!!!
